Activities And Events In Oxfordshire 29th-30th September 2018

It’s been a week of pretty lovely warm weather despite the signs of Autumn creeping in.  I learnt the hard way that the leaves are falling from the trees when I took an orange tennis ball out for Willow on our dog walk the other day……..  You can imagine how long it took to find it when she dropped it!  If you want to make the most of the weekend check out the activities and events listed below.  Have a good one!

Saturday 29th September

  • Cotswold Airport Revival Festival 10am-5pm.  Vintage and wartime extravaganza with re-enactments, demonstrations, vintage flights, steam engines, vintage and military vehicles plus live music.  Children under 12 get in free!  Buy tickets here: http://www.cotswoldairportrevival.com/
  • Macmillan coffee morning at the Marlborough Club in Didcot 10am-12pm.  Tea/coffee, cake and stalls all raising money for a great cause.
  • PJ Masks characters will be making appearances at intervals in the Castle Quay Shopping Centre (Banbury) between 11-4pm.
  • Wild woods day at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre.  Lots of fun outdoor activities to take part in as well as live animals, bushcraft demos, den building, storytelling and more.  Donations welcome.  10am-4pm.

Sunday 30th September

  • Gaydon Military Show at the British Motor Museum 10am-4pm featuring vehicle displays, army bomb disposal unit and robot demo, drumming performances, STEM activities for kids and more.
