You may have seen across our social media channels that last week we visited the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, near Banbury. This place was very new to us, having only heard about it a couple of months or so ago. With my Dad working for Williams Formula 1 team since I was a baby, cars have naturally always been a part of my life. And now with a 4 year old boy in the family we have another car enthusiast in the making!
When the British Motor Museum invited us to come and visit we jumped at the chance. With the weather being completely pants at this time of year I always find it difficult to think of places to go which are indoors and don’t involve the mayhem of soft play. This museum is the perfect solution. There are so many fun activities and trails for the kids to take part in, plus loads for grown-ups to see too. It’s a great day out for all the family, including the grandparents. And better still, your entry tickets are valid for a whole year , which means you can visit as many times as you like!
The museum is super easy to get to, just a few miles off the motorway and has a large free car park. Disabled access is good, with lifts giving access to all areas upstairs. Baby change toilets and high chairs are provided too, so all the family is well catered for.
