So last weekend started off brilliantly with a fab trip to see The Nutcracker and The Mouse King at Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot. Then sadly with the weather turning we were unable to reach Alton Towers for our Santa Sleepover weekend and had to cancel. Gutted. Continue reading
So this has been a bit of a manic week of the elves arriving, putting up the Xmas decs, Lois’s school nativity play, getting organised for Xmas and our trip to Alton Towers Resort, oh and of course working! Things aren’t going to be slowing down any time soon but I am really excited for our plans this weekend. All will be revealed soon! Continue reading
Goodness me its got a bit cold all of a sudden hasn’t it?! We decided to go on a family day out to enjoy the Christmas lights at Waddesdon Manor last weekend. The lights and the atmosphere there was fab but I had an epic fail on my part by not taking the kids hats, gloves, etc. We were all absolutely frozen and after just 2 hours had to abandon our visit and head home. Apologies this post is a little later in the week than it normally is. We had a bit of a family emergency earlier on in the week and with Halloween and everything else on top of that I’m a bit behind! Did you all enjoy Halloween? Continue reading
The weather is looking good for this weekend and there are loads of fab Autumn themed events happening. Freshly pressed apple juice anyone? Continue reading

So glad though that she has so many friends that enjoy her company and want to include her in their birthday plans. Continue reading
