Activities & Events In Oxfordshire 12th-13th January 2019

It’s the first weekend of 2019! Can you believe it?!  Christmas and New Year came and went in the blink of an eye! We’re now all slowly getting back in to routine.  New events are appearing all the time as venues plan their year ahead so I’ll continue keeping you up to date with whats happening in Oxfordshire.  Here’s whats in store this week:

Saturday 12th January

  • Lambing weekend at Roves Farm 9am-5pm.  See the expectant ewes and if you’re lucky witness a baby lamb being born!
  • Creative computing club at Science Oxford for 9-12 year olds. Create a medieval themed game using coding.  £8 per child.  Children must be accompanied by an adult (free of charge).  10-11:30am and 12:30-2pm.  Book in advance.
  • Magical Movies at the History Of Science Museum in Oxford 2-4pm.  Find out what the Victorians knew about moving image and make your own movie toy. Drop in session for ages 7+
  • Wantage Lego club at the Vale And Downland Museum from 9:30am.  Children and their grown ups are encouraged to use the supplied bricks to make a creation based on this months theme which will then be put on display.

Sunday 13th January

  • Lambing weekend at Roves Farm 9am-5pm.  See the expectant ewes and if you’re lucky witness a baby lamb being born!

Ongoing Events

  • Kids go free with a full paying adult at Green Dragon Eco Farm 7th-31st January.
  • Discounted entry to Oxford Prison and Castle for residents of Oxfordshire every weekend in January (just take proof of address). £6.50 adults, £4.25 for children or £19.50 for a family of 4.
